Colombia La Palma is Wu Wei Coffee’s first direct trade single origin coffee from the Santander Region of Colombia. La Palma farm, part of the Cañaveral Bajo (low cane field) region translates to ‘The Palm’ named after the soaring 20’ surrounding palm trees, before the cultivation of coffee the farm held a sugar cane plantation farm. Unaware to many, but palm trees play an important role in the coffee ecosystem by providing shade to the coffee trees, protecting them from excess sunlight. Tasting notes of coffee cultivated in this area are typically noted for their chocolate and hazelnut properties, with a hint of citrus. Our goal with this coffee is to honour these delicate properties of the green bean and magnify them through the magic of roasting. As a Latin American myself, it’s not only an honour, but a privilege to re-launch Wu Wei Coffee with a Latin American offering such as La Palma. Building Direct Trade relationships with coffee growers is a core tenet to Wu Wei Coffee. This sustainable model gives us the reassurance that coffee growers are fairly compensated for the intense physical labour that goes into bringing this coffee from the farm, to our cupping lab, to your cup.

We picked up a bag at the Kensigton market location and it was the best coffee we have had since moving to Toronto. Excited to keep this in stock in our hose all the time now
I got tired of drinking the same old Nabob coffee from the local grocery chain and tried this medium roast coffee. I was pleasantly surprised and the packaging looks great. Will try more flavours in the future.
This is such a different take on coffee, it's not super intense but the flavours compliment each other so well. I've tasted nothing like it. Not to mention the customer service is great. John was very quick to respond with any concerns or questions I had. Keep it up man!
This coffee is so delicious, plus it's priced so well. For such quality coffee, you really get a steal with the price.
THE BEST COFFEE HANDS DOWN! The flavour notes are incredible, it's like having peanut butter and chocolate in a drink. Great product man.
