Wu Wei Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster and café that combines mindfulness with the art of coffee. Rooted in the philosophy of "wu wei" — the concept of effortless action and harmony with the natural flow — we offer a curated selection of thoughtfully roasted beans and unique matcha-infused drinks. Whether you're looking for a traditional espresso, a light pour-over, or one of our nearly 10 matcha specialty drinks, Wu Wei Coffee provides an experience that blends relaxation and excellence in every cup.
How do you source your coffee beans?
We source our coffee beans from sustainable farms around the world, including regions like Central and South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. We prioritize direct trade and organic certifications whenever possible.
Is your coffee gluten and nut free?
Yes, coffee beans themselves are naturally gluten-free and nut-free. However, if you have a severe allergy or sensitivity, it's important to check if there are any potential cross-contamination risks in flavored coffees or the environment where the coffee is processed. At Wu Wei Coffee, we take precautions to ensure our coffee is safe for customers with dietary restrictions, but please inform us of any specific concerns.
How many cups of coffee are in a bag?
Our 244g bags of coffee can typically make around 12 to 16 cups of coffee, depending on how strong you like your brew and the method you use. The standard coffee-to-water ratio is about 1 to 2 tablespoons (which is approximately 5-10 grams) of ground coffee per 6 ounces of water. If you use 15g (about 3 tablespoons) per cup, you’ll get roughly 16 cups. Adjusting for stronger or weaker preferences may slightly increase or decrease the total number of cups.

What are your shipping & return policies?
We offer free shipping when you order 2 or more bags of
coffee. Flat rate $10 shipping for orders under 2 coffees. Next day shipping (excluding weekends) Coffee may be rested 7-10 days before being shipped. Once shipped, please allow for a transit time of 4-7 business days. Orders in the GTA typically deliver within 1-2 days.

Do you ship to the USA?
We are pleased to offer shipping to the USA. Orders are processed within 1-2 business days, and shipping times typically range from 5-10 business days, depending on your location. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the destination and order size. We take great care in packaging to ensure your coffee arrives fresh and in perfect condition.
Returns & Exchanges
Whole Bean & Ground Coffee
Coffee is perishable and roasted to order, for that reason we're unable to accept returns on coffee. However, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please contact our customer experience team at hello@wuweicoffee.com within 14 days of your purchase. If there was an error with your order, or if you are dissatisfied with your coffee. We’d love to help you find something delicious.
All Other Merchandise
If you are dissatisfied with your order in any way, please don’t
hesitate to reach out to our customer experience team about a return or exchange within 30 days of purchase by emailing us at hello@wuweicoffee.com. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase,unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. We require a receipt or proof of purchase to complete your return. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. The customer is responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Does Wu Wei Coffee ship internationally?
Currently we do not offer international shipping. We appreciate your interest in our specialty coffees, and we're working towards expanding our shipping options in the future. For now, we only ship within Canada & the USA.
